Lot Description  

1970's piece for the ABA St. Louis Spirits, famous for signing Moses Malone out of high school and the most incredibly lopsided deal in the history of sports. When the ABA merged with the NBA, the NBA decided to take only 4 of the 6 teams. They bought out the owner of the Kentucky franchise for 3.3 million, but the owners of St Louis asked for and got 2% of the associations TV revenues into perpetuity, as if they still had a franchise. And you thought the Herschel Walker trade was a bad deal.
