Incredibly rare early basketball photo, this auction has the first pre World War II basketball items we have ever handled. Unfortunately, neither the photo nor the cabinet give us any clues as to the precise date. The mount design is post 1900, and the corner mounts rather than adhesive make it probable that it is post 1910. Measures 5 3.8" x 7 3/8". Photographer name Collins is embossed on the back .
