Lot Description  

4 men in the photo are holding bats, one has a bat and ball. Back stamp credits New England View company of Portland Maine for the photograph, but we could find no information about the company to help us date the photo. On back, in pencil is written "This is Northwood Seminary when Mary Bell Cate and Joseph Herbert Hutchins were teaching there." We could find no record of a Northwood Seminary in Maine.
