Every now and then something post war slips into the pre war auction and we felt this was an appropriate exception. It is a brief note to Clyde Milan's widow from Clark Griffith. Apparently he forwarded her a fan letter for her late husband sent in April 1953 shortly after he passsed in March of the same year. While the note is brief it shows a level of compassion that the team president would take time to forward a fan letter to a recent widow of a former teammate. Neat little slice of baseball history. PSA/DNA full letter solid signature in blue ballpoint
