Johnny Lujack 1947 Heismann winner and 2 time consensus All-American at Notre Dame, played 4 seasons with the Chicago Bears.
Arthur "Red" Patterson sportswriter/executive. Started his career writing for the New York Herald-Tribune where he was one of the first people outside of the Yankees to learn that Lou Gehrig was going to take a day off. Later joined the Yankees as the first ever publicity director for an MLB team. While there, he conceived of the first Cap giveaway day, team yearbooks, and oldtimer games. He's also credited with coining the term "tape-measure home run". He left the Yankees for a similar position with the Brooklyn Dodgers, where he got to be the one to tell the world the Dodgers were leaving Brooklyn for LA. Deceased 1992
