All field passes are from the career of Whalen Monica
Monica started attending baseball’s World Series in 1926 and baseball’s All-Star game in 1937. Beginning in 1948 Monica worked with production companies covering the World Series and All-Star Games. His work would eventually lead him to positions with “This Week in Baseball” and Major League Baseball Productions.
This pass for the 1962 World Series is signed on the back in pencil by then commissioner Ford Frick HOF, deceased 1978. Front of the pass is stamped “Movietone News”. Pass is heavily creased and exhibits edge wear and toning consistent with its age.
