Ticket was intended for a double header on “Save the Sox Nellie Fox Cancer Benefit Day” to raise money for cancer research in memory of Nellie Fox, who had just passed due to cancer in December of 1975. The games were postponed due to cold. Presumably because the benefit was tied to ticket sales, these tickets did not include the usual rain check, and in fact specify “Good for this date only, no refund or cash value” and could not be used when the games were made up, one on 8/6/76 the other 9/13/76
