A tough card. Everyone knows the Throwing pose is a rarity, but even if you combine the Throwing and Batting populations there are roughly on half as many Wagner's graded on the combined PSA and SGC pop reports as other HOF'ers. A better comparison of how tough these are is to compare them to Cobb who typically grades out at roughly the same rate as Wagner in sets without unusual short prints. There are a TOTAL of 138 Wagners graded by PSA and SGC (91 Batting 47 Throwing respectively) and 383 Cobbs. So in reality BOTH Wagners are significantly short printed, just the Throwing is even moreso.

The card in this auction has a GORGEOUS front with superb color, great image and moderate corner wear along with a small ding in the right border above his waist. Would easily look at home in a VG/EX slab. Unfortunately there is paper loss and a little bit of tape residue on the reverse accounting for the low grade. So a chance to grab a "bargain" Wagner with massive eye appeal.
