A brutally tough subset to get a numerical grade on. For some unknown reason Playball issued two 12 card sheets of players in the 1941 set on paper stick. Theories abound about WWII cardboard rationing, but with this being a set that should have wound down by the time we got involved in the war I don't know if that holds up. Anyway these are literally on paper, so between being fragile and hand cut there aren't a ton of numerical grades with either of the major graders of vintage. THis one presents nicely but there is a light crease down from the op border about 1/2" on the diagonal. It is easier to see on the reverse through "ARTHUR"
