Billy Scott was owner of the Louisville Black Caps. The team played as the Louisville Black Caps in the Negro National League during the 1930 season, and changed their name to the Louisville White Sox for the 1931 season. In 1932, they switched to the Negro Southern League and went back to being the Black Caps, but relocated to Columbus and changed their name to the Turfs. They folded at the end of the season - no word on if the cost of constantly changing stationery played a role.
