Yes, it's a port war piece, but it celebrates one of the most important fights in early boxing. Jackson and Corbett were instructors at rival boxing schools in the same city. They fought to a 61 round draw, and the clamor started for Corbett to fight John L. Sullivan. (intersting that there was no clamor for Jackson!) Corbett got the Sullivan fight and became the first and only man to beat Sullivan claiming the Heavyweight Championship. Some edge chipping and light bends/folds and it is mounted to the white cardboard, but still a pretty print.
