Emlen Tunnell HOF recorded his 54th career interception for the Giants, and Giants Defensive Coordinator/Punter/DB Tom Landry ended his only All Pro season as player in inglorious fashion when he bounced a punt off the crossbar (goalposts were on the goal line in those days) for a safety.
