There were two different versions of this set - the newsprint version which was cut from issues of the Philadelphia Bulletin, and a semi-glossy premium. These are all newsprint variations. Has pinups 1-20, but not 21-26. Fortunately both of the sets Hall of famers - #3 Richie Ashburn and #19 Robin Roberts are included. #1 Jim Konstanty is severely damaged at the bottom. These are all hand cut from newspapers and not eligible for grading.
Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.
