With only a total of 19 graded by PSA and 36 by SGC this is among the toughest backs in the m101-4, m101-5 sets. With 200 cards in the set only a fraction of the set even has a graded example and this is in fact the only graded Mayer. Carl's collection contained an amazing 7 raw Block & Kuhls, which we graded, expanding the known population by almost 15%!

Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.
