We're actually not seeing the trimming on this one. The only edge with issues is the bottom edge but we wouldn't call it trimmed. That being said the card would only grade a "1" anyway with two horizontal creases and a vertical crease up from the bottom to the first horizontal crease between his shins and whatever you want to call the damage to the bottom border. There is also a faint notation on the bottom edge on the back, can't quite make it out but it looks something like "539"
Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.
