Greasy Neale, sports most interesting man? Was on the Cinicnnati Reds team that "benefitted from the Black Sox throwing the Wolrd Series. While he was a successful Major Leaguer he was also playing Pro Football and coaching in college. The man was successful at everything he did and eventually made the Pro Football HOF as a two time NFL Chmp coach of the Eagles. The card is well centered and crease free with moderate to heavier corner wear, but has some small ink staons on the back two of which bleed through to the fornt in the upper right.
Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.
