Capacity for Connie Mack Stadium in 1970 was 33608, official attendance was 31822, so only 1786 full tickets could possibly exist. This lot also includes a certificate of attendance, with a still empty spot for the seat coupon, a booklet reviewing the history of Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium in pictures, and a reprint of the Philadelphia Inquirers front page from the Stadiums opening day. A must have for the diehard Philadelphia sports fan. Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby.
