1981 NLDS Game 3 Stub - the mid-season strike resulted in the first league divisional series being played in this season. 1st half leader played the 2nd half leader in each division, with the winners advancing to the NLCS. The Phillies won this game 6-2, but the Expos would go on to win the best of five series 3-2
7/3/83 vs Mets stub - Mike Schmidt HOF career home run #364
10/2/83 vs Pirates stub
5/23/84 vs Dodgers full ticket Fernando Valenzuela outdueled HOFer Steve Carlton for a 1-0 win. Carlton struck out only 1 in 8 innings of work - that couldn't have happened very often.
4/10/87 vs Cubs stub Phillies home opener. Mike Schmidt HOF career home run #496
5/26/90 vs Braves stub. Stub is stamped and postmarked from Mike Schmidt Station for reasons that are unclear. Almost definitely not to commemorate the Braves Jedd Treadway hitting 3 of his career 28 home runs that day (and yes, that is the "record" for fewest career home runs by a person with a 3 HR game).

Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.
