These sets are difficult to find complete. When you do find one complete, you generally have all 24 cut from the pages of the newspaper, as was the intent. They were issued across 3 Sundays, in groups of 8 in the Today insert section of the Philadelphia Inquirer. We are excited to offer the complete set of 3 fully intact insert sections from 9/17, 9/24, and 10/1 containing the complete set of 24. Included are early career issues of HOFers Richie Ashburn and Robin Roberts. A must have for hardcore Phillies collectors, it may be a long time before you see this set offered in this form again.

Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.
