First let's get it out of the way. A complete set of playing card style cards that only has 50 cards is pretty funny. Add to that, 10 of the cards don't have playing card info on them at all and that there are a few duplicate cards (with different people pictured) and it becomes easy to imagine frustrated kids everywhere buying more penny candy trying to complete a deck! Getting the king of clubs with Andy Gump and then another with Glenn Tryon might even lead you to believe two decks were possible!

Both sheets have their issues.

The black sheet has a clipped upper right corner and heavy wear to the other corners with edge toning but a fairly nice surface. Key Cards include:
Gary Cooper (the mark on his head is a print flaw NOT damage. It appears something got onto the plate)
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (Precursor to Mickey Mouse)
HOF Boxer Benny Leonard
Charlie Chaplin
Lon Chaney
Harry Heilman HOF.

Chaplin is probably the most important card on this sheet and is very clean.

The red sheet has obviously suffered from water damage at some point causing the paper to peel at the bottom of the sheet. Unfortunately that is where the most important card in the set, Lou Gehrig, is located. The damage, albeit lighter, does extend up into the next row as well. There is significant surface wear and some additional paper loss on the back at the top. Key Cards include:
Eddie Cantor
Jackie Coogan (The original Uncle Fester who started as a child actor with Chaplin)
John Barrymore
Al Jolson

Bottom row all damaged

Al Simmons HOF
Lou Gehrig HOF
Tony Lazzeri HOF
