Edward Stern & Co woman cheering for Yale postmarked 1907
Ullman Manufacturing cherub with a football in a Yale sweater, postmarked October 17, 2010.The handwritten note on the back seems to imply that the postcard was being sent to a football player, offereing encouragement and advice. Based on the date of the postmark, and the content of the message, it seems likely this was either sent as a congratulatory note to an Army cadet confratulating them on beating Yale on the 15th, or encouragement to a Vanderbilt player preparing to face Yale on the 22nd. Also possible that we miinterpreted the context and it's to a Yale player. Unfortunately, we could find no information to tie Jack Hallburg to any of those schools
