Purple Big Head, Green Small Head, Blue Small Head. The "Small Head" variations are generally considered to be about half as common ad their counterparts, though, annoyingly. the population reports don't distiguish between the two even though they are very different. Purple has light surface wear on the front, light rust to the rim and some staining to the back. Green Small head has moderate soiling to the front, no rust to the rim and light soiling to the back, Blue Small Head has light wear to the front and a spot ofheavier rust in the lower rightlight rust to the rim on back and light soiling

Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.

We are finishing up Carl's amazing lifetime collection in this auction and would like to thank everyone who supported the efforts, especially those who made an extra donation on top of our efforts. We will be sending a little over $1000 to the foodbank in Carl's name.
