Ferenc Puskas was arguably soccer's first international superstar (he's 13 years older than Pele). FIFA's Puskas award for the most beautiful goal of the year is named in his honor. Played most of his Intenational career for Hungary, but later became a Spanish citizen and appeared for the Spanish national team in 1961 and 1962.
