From December of 1947 to September of 1949, The Chicago Typographical No. 16 was on strike against the Chicago Herald-American, Tribune, Daily News, and Sun Times. They passed these scorecards out for free to encourage people to respect their strike. We were able to narrow this down to the 1949 season because Casey Stengel is listed as the Yankees Manager, and the last year of the strike was his first year at the helm of the Yankees. Two small holes just above the Yankees name, possibly from a staple.
