This set break is of an original owner collection. The same owner as the near set break of 1948 Leaf a few auctions ago. Put together when he was a pre-teen he unfortunately decided to express himself artistically on many of the cards by adding color to hats, lips and undershirt sleeves on many of the cards. Some of them have actually been difficult to spot as he certainly seemed to do a nice job!

This Spahn has colored in undershirt sleeves, a touch of color added to his cap and his socks. Card would otherwise grade VG+ with moderate to heavy corner wear but crease free.
