First letter, dated 11/7/1941 is thanking the association for the invitation to attend a convention in Chicago to market their Stars on Stripes Football game and declaring their intention to attend. Second letter, of which we only have the first page, is dated 1/3/1942. Subject is that the company is no longer able to attend the convention. They give a number of logistical reasons why they will be unable to attend. If historical events between the first and second letter (America's entry into WW2),impacted the decision, that information is on the second page, which we don't have.
