All the AAGPBL items in this auction came to us from a consignor who lives near Sellersville, PA, where 6 time AAGPBL All Star Ruth Richard (Grand Rapids Chicks and Rockford Peaches, Allington's All Stars and Women's World Champions barnstorming teams) spent most of her life. We do not have a chain of provenance to definitively tie these to her personal collection, but given that each item has a connection to her(She played on the team in the program, the only picture that doesn't include her includes her first manager), it certainly seems plausible.

The AAGPBL patch is visible on the sleeve, so we know the photo was taken 1954 or earlier, but we can't see the hat logo to know if she is with Rockford or Grand Rapids here. The word "original" is handwritten on the back and their is adhesive residue along the back edges.
