Lot Description  

CDV published by Wenster & Popkins photographers of Hartford Connecticut, picture is credited to Frederick Gutekunst by The National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian. Photo subject is General Ulysses S Grant standing in uniform. Per the Smithsonian, the original photo was taken in 1865.
