Appears to be a child's scrapbook detailing the entirety of the 1939 Season billed as Baseball's Centennial. Dozens of pages of mainly newspaper clippings including articles on DiMaggio, Ruth, The first classes of the Hall of Fame, the All American Girls Professional Baseball League and much more.

Where notations aren't present on the clipping they are often added in the margins in pencil by hand. It makes phenomenally interested viewing and reading as it talks about the origins of the game and the early days of baseball from the perspective of 1939, a time that we today largely consider the early days of the game as we know it!

The cover is by far in the worst condition of any part of the scrapbook. It is stained, and some of the items glued to it have worn away, and it has come separated from the rest of the book, and even the re-tape job has given way, but everything is still present. There are no missing pages, and the pages are largely in very nice condition. A true one of a kind item. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have!
