The smaller Type one measures approximately 2.5" by 4.75" and though small shows superb detail. There is light discoloration around the edges of the photo likely due to having been glued in a book. though the back isn't heavily damaged with residue or paper loss, just a light discoloration there as well. The smaller version comes with a letter of authenticity from RMY Auctions. The larger version is MUCH larger and so the detail isn't as crisp. The photo measures 8" x 10" and the mount is 9.5" x 12" While the piece certainly appears to be period as well it may be considered a type 3 as it appears to not have been made off the negative, but off of a photo. Foutain pen caption on the mount reads "Jack Johnson Heay-Weight Champion of the World Won From Tommy Burns 1908" Still a unique opportunity to own two different sizes of a rare image of one of the great Heavyweights of all time from over 100 years ago!
