The only graded example of this card on the COMBINED PSA and SGC Pop Reports. Altonna Tribune ranks as one of the tougher backs and this is a solid example. In the entire set of Tribunes SGC has graded eight 4's, one 4.5 and one 5 (both in this auction as well!). PSA has graded seven 4's two 5's and two 6's. So even in the total poulation this is a high end example. There have only been a total of 40 Altoona Tribunes graded by SGC and 26 by PSA. Considering there are 200 in a set this should give you an idea of how tough these really are!

Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby.
