The badge features a small black and white photo of Captain Midnight along with the dcoder wheel, very little tarnishing or wear. The ring is more heavily worn. The top of the ring is embossed "Flight Commander" above and below the insignia. Inside the ring is embossed "Captain Midnight Super Code 3" Finally we're not sure that the wings are actuall a Captain Midnoght piece. The metal is much more substantial and there are no words at all, just the stars and stripes winged shield. Frankly, while we can't find a perfect match, it looks a great deal like an authentic military pin. The strongest likeness is the Army Aviator Badge. We're including it in the lot because it came together from the consignor.
