If you ever wondered how people displayed their cards before cheap clear plastic, here's the answer. Card corners are inserted into slots, holding them firmly in place. 25 of the 28 cards included are Phillies. Key cards include:

The way the cards are inserted in the album, you cannot see the corners from both sides, and were concerned about possibly damaging either the cards or the album if we attempted to remove and replace them. That is why we did not provide grades for any cards but the Jenkins, which was obviously POOR without further inspection.

Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.
