Lot Description  

7th issue of this long-running college football newspaper. Cover article about Michigan's 85 - 0 win over Chicago led by Heisman winner (and actor Mark Harmon's dad) Tom Harmon. Better condition with minimal edge wear. The Football News was published until at least 2003 and was a "Major Selector" of College Football National Championships from 1958 -2002 and an "Official Selector" of College Football All-Americans from 1993 - 2001. Hard to find any other history or the fate of the periodical.
