A very interesting piece. Measures roughly 11.5" x12.75", considerably larger than the better known iron on set. The Quaker logo is visible center left. There is no year information printed on it, we're assuming it's 1976 like the smaller iron ons because of similarities in font, and the flag design in the background. Bob Boone is also not on the Quaker/Mr. Softee checklist or even the 1978 RC checklist, leading us to believe that this was only issued locally. It certainly seems scarce, and is not even mentioned in the Standard Card Catalogue. Whether you're a Phillies fan or an oddball collector, this is a must have item.

Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl's name.
