The top corners are lightly dinged with creasing at the tips surface and edges are very clean, but on the back there are two folds or wrinkles up from the bottom edge. They run up about 2/3 of the way one to the left of center and the other to the right. In the front of the piece, even under magnification, we can't find any sign of them so you have a piece that presents phenomenally with a techinally lower grade.

Long-time friend of the company Carl Frysinger recently passed and made arrangements to consign his collection. With a collection that stretched from 1887 - 2022 and was as close to comprehensive as we've ever seen, he was one of the foremost Phillies collectors in the hobby. In his memory The Collector Connection will be donating 1% of our portion of the proceeds of the sale of his items to the Central PA Foodbank in Carl’s name.

We are finishing up Carl's amazing lifetime collection in this auction and would like to thank everyone who supported the efforts, especially those who made an extra donation on top of our efforts. We will be sending a little over $1000 to the foodbank in Carl's name.
