Unknown 19th century date on this piece the card is promoting Boss Watch Cases with a space for a local jeweler ad. On this one the ad is from William Alexander Jeweler in Toronto which is the first trade card from north of the border we've handled.light to moderate corner wear, some surface chipping mainly to the left edge viewed horizontally and some staining to the back which seems to be a very thin skin of glue residue that has browned. It does not affect the legibility at all and has very little "feel" to it, but we're fairly sure that it is glue.
