An amended roster for the New York Team is posted. Did the comment from the June 19th issue (see lot 756) foment the change?
As all the Porter's Spirit of the Times in the auction, this was stitched into a bound volume so there is extensive spine damage including the stitch holes. Paper is complete and easily legible with the baseball content appearing inside on pages 4 and 5. There is a hole in the cover on the words "Field Sports" and the month.
